How Many Specifications Are Available for Linear Modules?

Ball Screw Linear Modules


Also known as profile modules or aluminum alloy modules, ball screw linear modules are mainly applied in equipment such as automatic welding machines, automatic assembly machines, automatic inspection machines, fully automatic dispensing machines, and automatic nut implanting machines.


They also enjoy extensive use across the following fields: military industry, military production machinery, simulation equipment, food processing, sorting machinery, loading & unloading machinery, and more.


Belt Linear Modules


Also referred to as timing belt linear modules, this type is ideal for equipment requiring long strokes and high speeds, including CNC machine tool worktables, cutting machines, laser engraving machines, spraying equipment, plotters, printers, material handling, transplanting, sorting, and loading & unloading systems.


Gear & Rack Linear Modules


Gear & rack linear modules are widely used in automated equipment featuring low precision requirements, high load capacity, high speed, precision positioning mechanisms, and multi-station feeding & unloading systems.


Typical applications include material palletizing and multi-station loading/unloading for large-scale processing machinery. They are also adopted in multi-stage telescopic shafts, heavy-duty gantry handling robots, medium-sized machine tool loading/unloading gantry robots, and the 7th axis of industrial robots.


Linear Motor Modules


Also known as direct drive motors, linear motor modules differ fundamentally from the above types. Driven directly by the moving and stationary parts, they boast the advantages of high speed, ultra-high precision and zero mechanical wear.


They are mainly used in electronic industry equipment, such as dispensing machines, chip mounters, laser cutting machines, laser marking machines, automatic spraying machines, power battery stacking machines, CT scanners, surgical beds, and visual inspection equipment.


KK Modules & Embedded Linear Modules


These two types of modules share a similar structure, adopting an integrated design of U-shaped guide rails and the main body. Unlike aluminum profile modules, they have no separate lead screw and sliding seat, with a single slider in the middle (dual sliders are also available).


KK embedded modules are mainly applied in winding machines, dispensing machines, material loading/unloading, and spot welding machines, serving industries including 3C electronics, lithium batteries, display panels, and industrial robots.
